Hobbs & Associates, Inc.'s golfers Thomas Ippolito, Bryan Johnson, Anthony L. Arnold, PE, and Ryan Charles recently participated in the YMCA of South Hampton Roads 2024 Charity Golf Classic. Hobbs is long time sponsor of the YMCA and its programs in the community.
The YMCA of South Hampton Roads features programs such as First Tee, an international youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after school and in school programs, we help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf. And it’s making a difference.
Staff and volunteers at First Tee — Hampton Roads include PGA professional consultants, and a team of qualified golf instructors assists in all programs, under professional supervision. This program includes First Tee Golf & Life Skills Certification Program, weekly summer camps, memberships to our Virginia Beach golf course, family golf time, Big T Little T tournaments and private lessons.
